Your Role:
As an underwriter, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, driving success by evaluating submissions, handling customer requests, and building strong relationships. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where creativity and strategic thinking are highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and underwrite:
Assess and manage submissions with precision, adhering to our guidelines and delegated authority.
Customer engagement:
Address quotes, re‑quotes, and endorsements with a customer‑first mindset, ensuring top‑tier service.
Relationship building:
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and driving business growth.
Collaborative approach:
Partner with teams across Underwriting, Business Development, Claims, IT, and more, contributing to a unified and effective operation.
Innovative contribution:
Research market trends, analyze competitive information, and support product development to stay ahead of the curve.
Additional Responsibilities
Mentorship:
Guide and support new underwriters, sharing your expertise and fostering a collaborative environment.
Continuous Learning:
Engage in ongoing professional development, including completing required underwriting classes, exams, designations, and training within 24 months of hire.

Qualifications
3+ years of underwriting experience in Commercial Property and Casualty, Personal, or Management and Professional Liability lines.
Insurance‑related coursework (CPCU, RPLU, etc.) is a plus.
Or: 5+ years in any of the following:
Travel:
Willingness to travel as needed to maintain effective customer interactions (for travel roles).
