Join our national law firm as an Associate Attorney with expertise in Liability Defense Litigation. This hybrid role is based in our office and requires at least five years of general liability defense experience.
Base Pay Range $130,000.00 – $170,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
Represent clients in court or before governmental agencies, presenting evidence in commercial litigation.
Prepare and draft legal documents such as briefs, motions, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Conduct legal research and analysis, applying law to case facts and presenting arguments and strategies.
Provide legal advice to clients regarding rights and obligations.
Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and legal support staff.
Stay current on laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect clients.
Participate in business development activities such as networking and presentations.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
Current license to practice law in the state.
Minimum five (5+) years of general liability litigation experience.
Proven courtroom and governmental agency experience.
Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
Strong legal research and analytical skills.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and balance multiple priorities.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
