Marshall Dennehey
Marshall Dennehey, a leading Am Law 200 civil defense law firm with over sixty years of continued service to our corporate, insurance, and individual clients, is seeking a Coverage and Bad Faith Attorney for its Jacksonville office with a minimum of three years of third party insurance coverage and bad faith experience.
Specifically, we are looking for candidates who enjoy analytical writing and analysis, but who are also drawn toward trial advocacy. This role provides a balanced mix of research, writing, hands on litigation and client interface. Our coverage group represents insurance companies in navigating all manner of coverage questions, including drafting coverage opinions on third party liability claims, litigating declaratory judgement actions, advising clients of potential extra-contractual exposure, responding to tender demands, conducting examinations under oath and defending coverage and bad faith suits involving all lines of insurance.
Responsibilities
Research and draft coverage opinions on third party liability claims.
Litigate declaratory judgment actions and coverage and bad faith suits.
Advise clients of potential extra-contractual exposure and respond to tender demands.
Conduct examinations under oath and defend coverage and bad faith suits involving all lines of insurance.
Qualifications
Minimum of three years of third party insurance coverage and bad faith experience.
Strong analytical writing and analysis skills.
Trial advocacy experience and a balanced mix of research, writing, litigation and client interface.
Consistent and steady work history preferred.
