Position Description Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Team Lead to manage warehouse operations, focusing on leadership, safety, and efficiency. The shift is third shift: Wednesday 12:00 am - 6:00 am, Thursday-Saturday 6:00 pm - 6:00 am.

Pay

Hourly Pay: $23.50 per hour

Additional Pay: $1.00 per hour when working third shift

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

One year or more powered industrial truck experience (preferred)

One year or more previous experience as Team Lead (preferred)

One year or more Microsoft Office experience (preferred)

One year or more previous warehouse experience (preferred)

Knowledge and experience with an RF scanner advanced (required)

Valid forklift operator’s license certified (required)

Strong verbal and written communication skills (required)

Effective leadership skills (required)

Flexibility to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment (required)

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team (required)

Performs work independently with minimal supervision (required)

Excellent organizational skills (required)

Proactively approaches responsibilities (required)

Maintains composure under pressure (required)

Working using health and safety methods (required)

Bilingual (for Québec locations only)

Responsibilities

Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of operations.

Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to team for optimal shift operational logistics.

Inspire and guide team members toward improved KPI’s using appropriate leadership styles and methods.

Assist in providing appropriate orientation to employees and give them the necessary information, technology, and tools to perform their jobs.

Promote health and safety working methods within the warehouse.

Handle day‑to‑day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).

Complete and submit daily reports and propose action plans to enhance operations effectiveness and service levels.

Perform other duties as assigned.
