Position Overview Field Service Engineers (FSEs) are the heart of our organization. As an FSE, you are responsible for visiting hospitals, health systems and other healthcare partners throughout your service territory. You’ll develop relationships with providers who live in and work to serve your nearby communities, using your systems expertise to achieve a level of trust that’s unmatched in the industry. As an OEM specialist, you’ll install, maintain and repair Siemens Healthineers imaging systems, with the opportunity to also work on select third-party equipment. Your first year will be spent learning the intricacies of the systems you’ll service from a senior engineer. You’ll also be coached in and become an expert in the "Cassling way," which emphasizes personalized service, record response times and a willingness to go the extra mile for our customers and partners.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Service any combination of MR, CT, Cath/Angio, Nuclear Med, fluoro and ultrasound systems
Perform periodic maintenance inspections per manufacturers’ specifications
Perform initial calibration and certification of newly installed systems
Complete all appropriate and necessary documentation associated with equipment installation, maintenance, service and parts replacement
Coordinate with service and sales management to anticipate future service needs
Maintain parts inventory according to policy
Travel in a company-provided vehicle to health facilities throughout your territory (driver’s license and Fleet Policy adherence required)
Travel via airplane for occasional training at other locations, including some outside the United States (must have or be willing to obtain a valid passport)
Work on call at set intervals in anticipation of system downtime during non-business hours
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned or required by manager

What We’re Looking For In a Candidate
Minimum of a two-year degree in electronics (Technical school or Associates Degree) or equivalent work experience
Medical imaging industry field service experience preferred but not required
Proficient use of hand tools and performance of mechanical tasks
The ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
Interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Able to work in a relatively unstructured environment in which priorities constantly change
