Customer Care Specialist
Weber Human Services (WHS) in Ogden, Utah serves a growing urban population in Weber and Morgan Counties. We are dedicated to helping those in need rebuild their lives and reach their full potential through substance abuse, mental health, and senior service programs.
A typical day in this role includes checking visitors and clients in for appointments, directing them to designated areas, scheduling appointments, making confirmation calls, pre‑admitting clients, collecting financial information for eligibility, administering assessments and OQ’s, answering incoming phone calls, and screening callers for emergency services. The position also provides support to other areas as needed.
Computer skills are essential; applicants must type 40 wpm. Customer service skills such as respectful communication, problem‑solving, and confidentiality are required. Bilingual Spanish speakers can receive an additional stipend upon competency test completion.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Complete criminal background check and pre‑employment drug screening
Customer service experience is a plus but not required
Compensation Salary: $19.91 per hour
