We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). DSPs support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to lead meaningful and fulfilling lives. Duties may include assisting with daily living activities, community integration, personal care, and promoting independence.
Provide direct care and support tailored to individual needs and outcomes.
Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting (as needed), and other personal hygiene needs.
Support with meal preparation.
Provide medication assistance (as needed).
Complete daily documentation as required.
Help individuals participate in community activities and social events.
Provide transportation (as needed) to appointments or outings.
Follow health and safety protocols and support the individuals plan.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED (preferred but not always required).
Ability to pass background checks as required by state law.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Ability to lift, bend, and assist with mobility as needed.
Transportation Some positions may involve transporting individuals in the community. For those roles, a valid driver's license and proof of insurance are required. However, we also offer positions that do not require driving, so candidates without a license or personal vehicle are encouraged to apply.
