Dietitian – Clinical Nutrition
Location: St Patrick Hospital-Broadway Bldg, Missoula, MT
Schedule Per Diem/On Call, Day Shift
Job Description Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Supervisor, the Registered Dietitian (RD)/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) collaborates with other health care team members to plan and provide medical nutrition therapy to patients. This includes nutrition support (parenteral and enteral) and nutrition education to a variety of patients in all patient care settings (ICU / floor units). The dietitian performs nutritional assessments, implements nutritional care plans, documents assessments and all re‑assessments/follow‑ups in the computer medical record per Joint Commission requirements, and attends multi‑disciplinary rounds and/or care‑conferences on the current floor they cover.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics
Post‑graduate internship accredited by AND
Montana Nutritionist License within 6 months (180 days) of hire
National CDR Registered Dietitian – Commission on Dietetic Registration upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in an acute care facility
