Behavioral Health Clinician
Join Inside Higher Ed as a Behavioral Health Clinician to provide comprehensive behavioral health services for adults, older adults, and adolescents. The role supports inpatient addiction medicine and collaborates with senior clinicians to facilitate patient referrals and services.
Position Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician delivers wrap‑around support to inpatient patients, assists senior behavioral health clinicians, and manages clinical documentation to promote safe and timely discharges.
Responsibilities
Confirm appointments, send and receive clinical documentation, and ensure patient understanding.
Assist senior clinicians with referrals and facilitate services for patients experiencing mood and anxiety disorders, obsessive‑compulsive disorder, trauma‑related disorders, and sexual dysfunction.
Provide evidence‑based treatment and support for Substance Use Disorder, trauma, and neurocognitive disorders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, or a related mental health field.
Preferred credentials: Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA), Social Work Trainee (SWT), Counselor Trainee (CT).
0 years of relevant experience required; 0–2 years preferred.

Location: Harding Hospital (0165).
Position Type: Regular.
Scheduled Hours: 40.
Shift: First Shift.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
