Summary
DME and Rehab: The Patient Service Specialist maintains, delivers, picks up, repairs equipment, and instructs patients on proper usage. Assists with completion of patient account information forms, and when appropriate collects payment. Concentrator Check: The Patient Service Specialist conducts preventive maintenance on Concentrator Checks, and is expected to maintain Category II (oxygen) medical equipment in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and State regulations. All Patient Services specialists are required to complete a health screening physical, carry the medical card with them while working and undergo random drug and alcohol testing. Perform other duties as assigned. Responsibilities
