Position Responsibilities
Perform assigned preventive maintenance tasks
Perform scheduled maintenance on plant equipment and machinery
Respond to and correct equipment stoppage/mechanical breakdown; troubleshoot and repair/replace worn or defective parts, motors, control devices, etc.
Operate machine shop equipment, hand tools, power hand tools, and make required parts when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of work area
Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and work rules
Perform other duties deemed integral to the job, including work schedules, attendance policies, and applicable operating rules and procedures
Preferred Qualifications
One or more years experience as a technician and/or formal training or experience
Experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning; welding, electronics, electrical repairs, industrial equipment installations, alignment, start‑up repairs, etc.
Essential Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalency plus at least 9/12 months vocational/technical certification courses
Equivalent military training, related technical training, or two or more years of college education may be substituted for vocational/technical training
AIB maintenance engineering course completion is acceptable
Salary & Compensation Starting pay is $29.87 hour. We offer a competitive salary and an excellent total rewards package.
