Occupational Therapist – Providence St Vincent Medical Center, Portland, OR (Per‑Diem, Day shift)
Job Overview Manages and provides skilled occupational therapy to patients/clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and disabilities, taking into account individual patient's special physical or age‑related needs. Requires skills in patient/client evaluation and treatment, as well as professional consultations to achieve maximum patient/client independence in accordance with individual functional level and potential.
Responsibilities Deliver evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions, conduct functional assessments, develop individualized care plans, and provide education to patients and families. Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support patient recovery and facilitate discharge planning.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Master's Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
Ph.D. from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program or equivalent education/experience
Specialized Occupational Therapy training to meet departmental needs or equivalent education/experience
Oregon Occupational Therapist license upon hire
National Provider Identifier (NPI) and American Heart Association BLS certification upon hire
