Accounts Receivable Accountant – Tulsa, OK
We are seeking a detail-oriented
Accounts Receivable Accountant
for a long‑term temporary project lasting 6+ months. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
Apply daily payments (ACH, wire, checks, lockbox, credit cards) accurately and on time.
Reconcile cash receipts and research and clear unapplied/misapplied cash, short pays, overpayments, and unidentified receipts.
Prepare monthly AR reports and create journal entries.
Maintain compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in accounts receivable that includes payment posting.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Workday) and MS Excel.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
