About the Role We are looking for a Senior Director of Operations, Warehousing, & Fulfillment to lead end-to-end warehousing and fulfillment operations nationally, ensuring flawless execution of international inventory flows through efficient, scalable, and cost-effective operations. You’ll also work to grow our international third-party logistics (3PL) presence in order to provide best-in-class service for B2B buyers and sellers.
Key Responsibilities U.S. Warehousing & Fulfillment Management
Oversee all daily operations in our existing NJ and LA distribution centers, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, staging, shipping, and returns processes
Accurately forecast warehouse volume and build monthly and weekly operational plans, ensuring the warehouse is optimally staffed and incremental costs can be anticipated
Implement, monitor, and refine KPIs and SLAs, including, but not limited to: order accuracy, inventory accuracy, turnaround times, and warehouse productivity
Lead continuous improvement initiatives, such as layout optimization, lean process adoption, cycle count programs, and performance dashboards
Assess warehouse network and potential future warehouse locations, including site selection, layout, and suitability for scaling operations. Make recommendations based on cost, efficiency, and alignment with business growth.
Collaborate with our broader Operations teams and Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams to support the optimization of our in-house Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Order Management System (OMS)
3PL Coordination & International Logistics
Serve as the primary liaison with international 3PL partners; conduct weekly operational syncs, quarterly business reviews, and performance audits
Establish, monitor, and enforce performance scorecards and SLAs through collaborative governance alongside the Business Operations team
Oversee inbound / outbound freight logistics, including routing guides, carrier selection, contract negotiations, freight cost optimization, and chargeback oversight
Strategic & Financial Leadership
Work with the Business Operations and Finance teams to build and manage annual budgets and forecasts for warehousing, fulfillment, and 3PL services; track performance against financial targets and drive cost-saving initiatives
Collaborate cross‑functionally to align operational plans with business goals and manage inventory flow effectively
Team Leadership & Compliance
Lead, mentor, and develop on‑site warehouse managers and individual team members across both U.S. hubs; build a high‑performing, safety‑first culture
Drive safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across all facilities and 3PL partnerships
Qualifications
10+ years in supply chain or operations roles, with at least 5 years in multisite warehousing across the US, fulfillment, or 3PL management
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or related field; advanced certifications (APICS, Six Sigma, PMP) or Master’s degree preferred, but not required
Previous experience managing teams
Experience in branded or retail B2B / eCommerce environments
Proficiency with WMS and OMS platforms; strong data analysis and Excel competency
Strategic thinker with hands‑on leadership style and project ownership across regions
Strong vendor management, negotiation, budgetary and cost‑control skills
Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and operational excellence
This role will be onsite in our warehouse in Secaucus, NJ and our NYC office in Mid‑town
Our target base compensation for this position is
$180,000-$200,000.
We value experience and are open to higher compensation for candidates with exceptional skills and background.
