IP Facility Coder III CCS (Remote) at Presbyterian Healthcare Services Location

Base pay range: $23.11/hr – $39.36/hr Minimum offer: $23.11/hr Maximum offer: $35.29/hr Responsibilities
Handle inpatient, outpatient, ED, Home Health & Hospice records, and professional fee services for PMG specialty providers. Use ICD-9/10 CM and CPT‑4 classification systems to assign appropriate codes, including CPT, ICD, and MS‑DRG. Review complete medical records, research as needed using multiple systems. Lose documents if missing and generate queries to ensure all encounters are coded. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements from all jurisdictions, including ICD‑9/10 CM, CPT‑4, HCPCS, DRG, APC, and HHRG updates. Resolve pre‑bill edits, denials, and other issues for assigned accounts. Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Must hold any one of the following coding certifications at hire: CCS, CCS‑P, CPC‑H, or RHIT/RHIA, and obtain the certification within one year. Three to five years experience as a coder. Benefits
