Assistant Manager
Position located at 320 Bayshore Boulevard.
Responsibilities include operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and facility daily.
Communication Skills Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential Functions/Skills Perform basic math calculations accurately. Handle monetary change. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Maintain motor coordination for precise movements.
Work Conditions Exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature extremes (36°F to over 90°F), fumes, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces and tools (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
Physical Demands
Standing: Most tasks performed from a standing position.
Walking: Short distances, short durations.
Sitting: Paperwork completed at a desk.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds (up to 3 × 1.5 ft).
Carrying: Items up to 30 pounds (e.g., pizza sauce) and trays of dough up to 12 pounds per tray.
Pushing: Trays on dollies requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force.
Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders.
Stooping, Bending, Crouching, Squatting: Required at various stations.
Additional Information Reaching continuously—up to and beyond 72 inches when operating ovens, and forward and downward tasks such as scooping cornmeal, washing dishes, and answering phones.
Hands used continuously with eye‑hand coordination; frequent use of one or both hands for shaping dough, manipulating pizza peel and cutter, and assembling boxes.
Job Duties (Management/Delivery) Deliver product to customers, requiring a valid driver’s license and safe driving record. Drive within a designated area, may deliver flyers and door hangers, and navigate various terrains while carrying product.
