HR Generalist - Talent Acquisition & HRBP Support

We're seeking an HR Generalist to join our team with primary responsibility for end-to-end recruitment while providing essential HR business partner support. This role is ideal for someone who excels at talent acquisition and enjoys the people side of HR.
Key Responsibilities Recruitment
Manage full‑cycle recruitment for assigned departments, from job posting through offer negotiation and onboarding coordination
Source candidates through multiple channels including job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking
Screen resumes, conduct initial phone interviews, and coordinate interview schedules with hiring managers
Build and maintain talent pipelines for hard‑to‑fill or frequently hired positions
Ensure positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to leadership on pipeline status and time‑to‑fill
Manage and maintain the ATS
HR Business Partner Support
Support performance review cycles by tracking completion, sending reminders, and compiling documentation
Administer and maintain leave of absence reports while partnering with the HR leadership team to ensure continuity and insights
Administer engagement surveys, analyze results, and create actionable reports with recommendations for leadership and department heads
Identify learning and development needs through focus groups, stay interviews, and performance data
Support the rollout of engagement initiatives such as recognition programs, employee resource groups, or wellness activities
Translate HR data into meaningful insights and trends to inform strategic workforce planning
Conduct exit interviews, identify patterns, and provide retention insights to HR leadership
Coordinate and promote L&D opportunities including training programs, lunch‑and‑learns, mentorship initiatives, and professional development resources
Generate HR reports and dashboards for leadership review
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
3+ years of HR experience with demonstrated recruitment expertise
Hybrid work schedule; must be willing to come into our downtown Houston office
Experience in a start‑up company
Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems and HRIS platforms
Knowledge of engagement survey tools and methodologies
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication abilities
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) and HR technology platforms
Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, or similar) is a plus
