Base pay range $78,288.00/yr - $117,432.00/yr
As a Transportation Manager – Terminals, you will be responsible for managing the terminal driver headcount plan through recruiting and retention efforts while developing DTI drivers and staff and promoting a safe culture.
What You’ll Do
Practice, train, and ensure safe work practices for drivers and staff
Manage and review assigned drivers and staff
Manage and plan for equipment and facility costs while effectively managing necessary vendor relationships
Recruit drivers and develop relationships with local schools and community organizations
Develop strategies to build DTI brand and marketing presence in areas surrounding terminal facility
Lead continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste
You Must Have
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to function in a multi‑task environment
You May Also Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Dot Foods' experience
Class A CDL
Prior transportation experience
Ability to influence desired behavior change with internal/external customer and vendors
Role Specifics
Supervision – Assigned a team of drivers and any on‑site staff at the terminal
Schedule – Ability to work flexible hours based on facility needs
Travel – 6–8 nights per month, overnight travel to other company facilities or outside facilities for training. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train
