Freight Payment Coordinator . The Freight Payment Coordinator’s primary objective is to manage the freight accrual exception process for rail shipments and activity. Key Responsibilities
Identify empty and tariff rates as needed and upload into database Utilize EDI 404/417 to confirm Payer of Freight as needed Manage accrual without invoice exceptions Resolve accrual and invoice non-match exceptions. Dispute as needed Create ad hoc reports Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in rail operations, freight payment or accounting Bachelor's degree preferred General understanding of accounting practices System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience highly preferred) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
