is seeking a
Logistics Coordinator
to manage the relationship between our clients and the Company located in our
Okemos, MI
Office.
What you’ll do:
Coordinate services to the existing portfolio of rail accounts.
Understand Rail car Operations in order to identify potential issues. Take charge of client service issues through to resolution.
Utilize RSI’s propriety system, to manage client activity, giving the client complete visibility for service being performed on their behalf.
Responsible for maintaining levels of profitability with all managed clients.
Plans and arranges own work. Uses a wide range of procedures to accomplish assigned objectives.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
2 + years of experience in rail operations or logistics coordination is preferred.
System savvy (prior ERP experience or Rail TMS experience is preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
