The Job
Responsible for leading and executing the sales strategy for Stanley Engineered Fastening’s Industrial division. Manages a team of Account Managers focused on driving sales growth through distributors and OEM channels. Ensures the achievement of sales targets, expansion of market share, and development of strong customer relationships. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Manager, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development. Oversee sales activities with both distributors and OEM customers, ensuring alignment with business goals. Build and maintain key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and negotiate and close business deals. Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Customer Service to ensure customer needs are met and market feedback is integrated into product offerings. Monitor competitor activity and market trends to adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Actively participate in the S&O P & IBP processes. Analyze sales metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management. Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical standards. The Person
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Sales within the Industrial channel or related manufacturing sectors with at least 5 of those years in a People Leader capacity. Ideal candidate will have a technical background and experience in fastener, engineered components, or related industrial sectors. Ability to travel within the United States at least 50% of the year. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in CRM software and sales analytics tools. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities. Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and customer needs. Self-motivated and results-driven with a focus on continuous improvement.
