Role Overview Our Client is seeking a dynamic and organized
Project Manager
to lead complex infrastructure projects from definition through implementation. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, managing multiple vendors and cross-functional teams across various locations.
A strong preference will be given to candidates with
ServiceNow
experience and a background in managing
Network, Compute, Storage, and Cloud
technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Lifecycle Management:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including detailed timelines, communication strategies, and budget tracking. Manage the entire lifecycle from initial scoping to final delivery.
Infrastructure Oversight:
Coordinate projects related to network architecture, compute resources, storage solutions, and cloud migrations involving multiple vendors and global sites.
Resource Leadership:
Provide day-to-day direction to project resources, fostering team commitment and ensuring milestones are met.
Risk & Change Management:
Proactively identify project risks and issues; develop mitigation plans and ensure effective change management processes are followed.
Communication & Reporting:
Translate complex technical concepts into clear business terms. Prepare high-quality documentation, status reports, and executive presentations.
Stakeholder Management:
Navigate cross-functional teams and maintain strong interpersonal relationships. Escalate critical issues to senior leadership with professional judgment and clarity.
Qualifications & Skills Required Experience:
2 to 5 years
of relevant project management experience in a technical environment.
Proven track record managing
Network, Compute, Storage, or Cloud
projects.
Proficiency in project management tools:
MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word .
Technical & Methodology Preferences
ServiceNow:
Strong hands‑on experience or understanding of the ServiceNow platform is highly preferred.
Frameworks:
Solid knowledge of both
Agile and Waterfall
methodologies.
Certifications:
Any
SAFe certification
(SSM, SASM, SA, SPC, or POPM) is considered a significant plus.
Core Competencies
Excellent negotiation, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting to senior leadership.
Ability to manage multiple vendors and work across different time zones/locations simultaneously.
