Responsibilities
Lead the project development from feasibility to close‑out in compliance with capital development standards.
Ensure site stakeholder engagement to guarantee operational readiness and maintainability.
Establish and maintain a project risk register and ensure required Hazop reviews.
Maintain an active project schedule and status reports.
Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance by providing purpose, direction, and motivation.
Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget.
Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise scope, schedule, or budget to ensure project requirements can be met.
Lead project review meetings throughout the project with site and steerco.
Oversee project deployment and successful startup with continuous support, deploying inside project financials, achieving project timelines, and complying or exceeding quality targets encompassed in the project scope.
Qualifications
Strong project management, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills and abilities; Lean Enterprise or Continuous Improvement background is required.
Highly organized; capable of multitasking across multiple projects.
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred; other disciplines considered with proven experience in large project development and implementation.
5 to 10 years’ experience in a related role and in heavy industry.
Highly demonstrated ability in conceptual and practical planning skills.
Strong working ability with MS Office (spreadsheets, project planners, charting, etc).
Experience in SAP is preferred.
Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD.
