Location: Boulder, CO – Salary range: $60,840–$87,516 per year.
Job Description A Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas of the hotel in good repair. The role requires a competent facility engineer in various trades such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, wall covering, and masonry. The technician must collaborate with teams, embody the company philosophy of "ONE TEAM. ONE VISION.", and contribute innovative solutions that align with our mission to be the best and most respected hotel company in America.
Responsibilities
Complete all required training.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and brand-specific standards.
Perform duties requested by management to improve hotel operations and guest service.
Maintain knowledge of fire alarm systems and evacuation procedures.
Repair or replace items such as light bulbs, lamps, switches, outlets, faucets, toilets, hardware, filters, paint, furniture, wall coverings, caulking, and grouting.
Keep a record of repairs performed, scheduled, pending, and those needing evaluation.
Inspect guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to identify needed repairs, touch-ups, or replacements.
Assist other department members in preventive maintenance activities.
Demonstrate basic mechanical aptitude for the operation and repair of hotel facilities and equipment.
Use basic hand and power tools proficiently.
Ensure safety and security for guests, associates, and hotel assets in coordination with management.
Maintain confidentiality regarding business functions, financial status, customer/guest information, and associate issues.
Required Skills
Strong written, telephone, and in-person communication.
Reliability to work scheduled shifts on a flexible 24/7 schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance.
Organized, honest, and collaborative.
Deliver personalized, friendly service to guests and associates.
High integrity, humility, and adherence to the Golden Rule.
Respectful interaction with diverse cultures and backgrounds.
Physical capability to bend, reach, kneel, push, stretch, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work eight hours in restrictive spaces.

Dexterity for operating equipment and writing.
Comfortable operating in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
Basic hearing and clear speaking in English.
