Job Description This Program Leader will be responsible for assisting with programming and operations at Lucky Shoals Park Community Recreation Center. The incumbent will provide quality customer service to internal personnel and external members of the community and public, and support and train part‑time staff.
Responsibilities
Interacting with user groups, associations, and other agencies
Assisting with special events and programming
Maintaining communication with staff and management
Maintaining safe operating environments and facilities
Completing and processing paperwork, including permit requests, and preparing and maintaining various records and reports
Completing Civic Rec entries for camps, programs, and classes
Overseeing Youth Athletic Associations and field rentals at satellite locations
Performing other duties of a similar nature
Minimum Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Parks and Recreation, Health and Human Services, Senior Services, History, or Education
Valid driver’s license
One year of related experience
CPR and First Aid certification within the first 6 months of employment
Preferred Qualifications
Associate’s degree or higher in Parks and Recreation, History, or Education
Two years of related experience
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Other Job Requirements
Must be able to work a variety of hours, weekends, daytime, evenings, and holidays
Additional Information
The grade for this position is B22(1). Salary will be dependent on education and experience.
Effective 4/11/2023, this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
