Position Title Temporary Project Manager-GEAR UP (Temporary Project Manager)

Primary Purpose of the Position The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Executive Director of College Access Programs to successfully implement and manage a newly awarded GEAR UP project and other projects within the department of College Access.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute the overall project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables, in alignment with the GEAR UP grant proposal.

Coordinate the design, planning, and implementation of program activities for students and parents, which may include academic support, mentoring, advising and college visits.

Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall marketing goals and brand of GEAR UP.

Create, curate, and schedule compelling and original content (including text, images) for platforms such as Instagram and Facebook.

Manage the day-to-day operations of all social media channels, including posting, monitoring, and community engagement.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements A Master’s degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Proficiency with social media platforms and technology; including Microsoft Office Suite and data management system.

Preferred Qualifications Experience working with college access programs.
