Base Pay Range
$150,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
Our client, a National plaintiffs’ firm seeks a mid level to senior Attorney motivated to help those injured as a result of corporate misconduct.
Our cases are complex, fast paced, and involve numerous defendants and substantial settlements and verdicts. Ours is a collaborative, open‑door environment where we work together to effectively advocate for our clients.
Responsibilities
Learn all aspects of asbestos litigation and quickly become responsible for handling cases.
Case management responsibilities include written discovery, taking and defending depositions, drafting and arguing motions, and trial work as first chair.
Handle trial work and travel frequently.
Engage in significant client contact, building rapport and empathy with families during stressful times.
Qualifications
J.D. from an ABA accredited institution and admission to relevant bar.
Prior experience in plaintiffs’ civil litigation (trial, motion work, depositions, pleadings, briefs, settlement negotiations).
Experience in plaintiffs’ asbestos law is a bonus; personal injury, wrongful death, products liability, or medical malpractice also valued.
Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
Ability to cultivate and maintain strong client relationships.
Ability to work as an individual and as part of a team on behalf of injured clients.
Ability to work under a deadline in a fast‑paced environment.
Commitment to plaintiff work, while demonstrating good judgement.
