Job Summary Delta Beverages is redefining the infused beverage space with fast-acting, elevated THC-infused drinks crafted for modern consumers who value intentional, stigma-free experiences. As our footprint rapidly expands across the Midwest, our on-the-ground execution is essential to driving market leadership. We are seeking a Chicago Brand Ambassador to serve as the frontline face of Delta in the market – owning territory-level execution, strengthening retail relationships, and ensuring our brand shows up flawlessly in every priority account. This role is the heartbeat of our field presence, responsible for consistent in-store execution, rapid problem-solving, and acting as the daily extension of the State Sales Manager.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Collaborative Partners: State Sales Manager and VP of Sales

Core Responsibilities Brand Activation & Experiential Marketing

Plan, host, and execute local brand activations that bring Delta to life in-market, including tastings, pop-ups, community events, and retail-adjacent experiences.

Serve as a confident, credible host and educator during consumer-facing moments, creating welcoming, stigma-free introductions to Delta.

Proactively identify activation opportunities aligned with local culture, retail partners, and sales priorities.

Collaborate with Sales and Brand/Marketing partners to execute campaigns, launches, and seasonal initiatives at the market level.

Capture on-the-ground content, insights, and feedback from activations to inform broader brand and sales strategy.

Ensure all activations reflect Delta’s elevated, modern, and approachable brand standards.

Area Ownership

Oversee partnerships within the assigned territory, ensuring strong brand presence and market penetration.

Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts.

Conduct regular market visits to assess store performance, product placement, and promotional activities.

Achieve area sales targets through proactive account development.

Collaborate with the State Sales Manager to execute territory sales strategies.

Identify new sales opportunities and support account onboarding as needed.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building

Build strong, trust-based relationships with store managers, buyers, and staff through consistent weekly visits and reliable follow-through.

Serve as the primary in-store ambassador for Delta, ensuring account partners feel supported, informed, and prioritized.

Develop a deep understanding of each account’s needs, customer base, and operational rhythms to tailor recommendations and drive shared growth.

Communicate upcoming promotions, new products, and partnership opportunities to keep accounts engaged and aligned with Delta initiatives.

Act as a proactive problem-solver, addressing account questions or concerns quickly to strengthen long-term loyalty.

Merchandising & In-Store Execution

Ensure Delta products are properly merchandised, fully stocked, and visually aligned with brand standards across all assigned accounts.

Verify product placement on shelves, coolers, end caps, and displays to maximize visibility and consumer engagement.

Maintain and refresh POS materials and in-store displays to support promotional and seasonal initiatives.

Conduct regular in-store audits to confirm product availability, correct pricing, and competitive positioning.

Execute in-store visibility strategies by securing and maintaining optimal shelf space and secondary placements that enhance brand presence.

Qualifications and Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the beverage industry.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a competitive market.

Strong understanding of route-to-market strategies.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Proficiency in sales analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, CRM systems).

Preferred Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience in the THC, cannabis, or alcohol beverage industry.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships.

Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.

Experience in training and developing sales representatives.

Collaboration and Partnerships

Collaborate with the State Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager and VP of Sales.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory standards.

Partner with external key accounts to enhance market penetration.
