Proposal Coordinator

Ramos CS is seeking a highly talented Proposal Coordinator to join our Business Development Team and support our active pursuits, including the preparation of formal and informal responses to client solicitations such as RFEI, RFQ, RFP, TOS, Pre‑Qualification efforts, and as‑needed proposal planning requirements.
Responsibilities
Prepares medium to large proposals and presentations from capture to interview stage, negotiations, contract award, and transition stage.
Manages proposal schedules and deadlines, develops proposal outlines, and works with proposal and capture managers to monitor proposal progress.
Supports proposal and capture managers in development of the win strategy during capture through interview preparation.
Creates annotated outlines and content plans and provides recommendations to technical teams on section structures.
May serve as lead writer and editor for qualifications, tailored resumes, past performance sections, executive summaries, and/or technical and management approaches for proposals.
Facilitates internal reviews, quality reviews, and applies lessons learned to add value to proposals.
Manages the implementation of proposal and presentation revisions based on direction from review teams.
Participates by providing recommendations in GO/NO‑GO and greenlight analyses in compliance with delegation of authority guidelines, capture planning and positioning activities as they pertain to proposal preparation.
Supports team during win/loss debriefs and gathers client feedback on proposals to ensure continuous improvement.
May support marketing or pursuits strategy and content development related to clients/markets, communications, campaigns, account managers and business lines, as necessary.
Performs a self‑check of work prior to submitting to others for review/approval.
Planning and organization of processes, standards, and templates to advance key deliverables, deadlines, look‑ahead and upcoming project information, schedules, scope, etc.
Organization of proposal database, qualifications, personnel data, project data, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
2 years of experience collaborating within a proposal team to lead and/or support proposal activity or equivalent experience and/or education.
Developed understanding of effective proposal and presentation writing and production.
Working knowledge of InDesign as well as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Ability to produce accurate, compliant, and compelling work independently and with others.
Excellent writing skills, with an aptitude and attention to detail.
Proven organizational and administrative skills, including the ability to complete varied work tasks on schedule and lead deliverable efforts by others; and ability to manage documents.
Proven planning skills, with the ability to organize and plan processes, standards and templates to advance key deliverables and deadlines.
Compensation Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $75,000 – $100,000.
