Competitive Salary Range
$54,000 to $82,320 (Based on education and years of relevant teaching experience). The annual salary listed above is based on a full-time, 8-hour workday (FTE 1) and a full working calendar. For positions with less than a full FTE or reduced hours, such as part-time or late-start positions, the salary will be prorated accordingly. Certified Salary Schedule.

Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Math Teacher to join our dynamic 8th grade team. As part of a strong and collaborative grade-level team, this teacher will play a key role in fostering academic excellence through engaging, standards-based instruction. Bilingualism in English and Spanish is desirable, but is not required.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality math instruction.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan, implement, and assess lessons aligned to standards and student needs.
Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, culturally responsive, and supportive of all learners.

Strong planning skills rooted in standards-based practices.
Enthusiastic about building relationships with a diverse student population.

In addition to teaching Math, the successful candidate will serve as a
Crew Leader
— a vital mentor and advocate for a small group of students throughout the school year.
As a Crew Leader, you will
Build strong, trusting relationships with students and families.
Serve as the primary communication link between school and home.
Guide students in setting academic and personal goals.
Support social-emotional development and foster a sense of belonging.
Necessary Credentials
Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution.
MUST have an active Colorado Teaching License in Secondary Mathematics 6-12 or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment. If additional coursework or a preparation program is required, the applicant must provide proof of enrollment and submission of the required documentation to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) within 30 days of employment.
Official transcripts must be provided upon hire. For international transcripts, an evaluation is required through a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).
Visa Candidates are required to hold at minimum an Initial (3-year) License.
Physical Requirements
May include standing and walking for extended periods; bending, stooping, and lifting materials; reaching for supplies on high shelves; using manual dexterity for tasks like writing and using technology; communicating clearly and effectively with students; climbing stairs in multi-level buildings.
