Pizza Bocca Lupo in San Jose, CA is looking for one prep cook to join our 14 person strong team.
Pay is $18-$20 / hr plus tips of $7-$10 / hr.
You will be working mostly lunch shifts 9:30am-1:30pm during the week; during weekend possibly longer. We are located at 87 North San Pedro Street 133. Our ideal candidate is attentive, ambitious, and engaged.
Responsibilities
Follow recipes and prepare dough, toppings, etc.
Sanitize and prepare equipment and workstation for cooking.
Weigh and measure ingredients.
Mix, wash, peel, chop, grind, strain, slice meat and vegetables.
Basic cooking functions such as kneading dough, and preparing sauces.
Label stock and inventory all ingredients.
Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Make and serve pizzas.
Qualifications
Authorized to work in the United States (we use E-verify; https://www.e-verify.gov/sites/default/files/everify/posters/EVerifyParticipationPoster.pdf)
Able to lift 50lb.
Ability to communicate and listen to team members.
Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal.
Experience as a Prep Cook a plus.
