The Door Attendant's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel
Providing professional hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner
Greeting all guests with a smile at all times
Using guests' last names when appropriate
Assisting guests with transportation to offsite locations using approved taxi/limo services
Presenting a pleasant customer service attitude
Having knowledge of hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, services, main attractions, parking rates, etc.
Being knowledgeable of local attractions, restaurants, entertainment ideas, and directions
Qualifications:
A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight
Physical stamina to stand for upwards of 8 hours during a shift
Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking
Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Refined verbal communication skills required
