Assistant Nurse Manager/Patient Care Leader - RN

is currently seeking a
Registered Nurse
to join our outstanding and compassionate
Oncology
team at
St. Joseph’s Hospital
as an
Assistant Nurse Manager/Patient Care Leader . As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.
Responsibilities
Being proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills.
Supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring, counseling and terminating process.
Being proficient in the delivery of complex nursing care and continuously promotes quality care assuming a broad level of accountability for outcomes.
Providing 24 hour/7 day accountability care for assigned patients.

Qualifications Certifications and Licensures:
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required
RN (Registered Nurse) license is required
Nurse Specialty certification is preferred
Education:
Bachelors degree in Nursing is required
Experience:
2 years of RN experience in acute care, post‑acute, or sub‑acute is required. 1 year of leadership experience is preferred.
