Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Endoscopic Technologist position is to assist in the coordination of patient care activities for endoscopic procedures.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will hold a high school diploma or equivalent and bring a minimum of one year of endoscopy experience or two years of healthcare experience. Experience working in endoscopy, gastrointestinal (GI), or colorectal is preferred.
Shift Details The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Salary Range
Annual: $49,500 minimum - $62,000 midpoint - $74,500 maximum
Hourly breakdown: minimum $23.80 - midpoint $29.81 - maximum $35.82

Key Responsibilities
Responsible for the set‑up, maintenance, cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of all endoscopic, ultra‑sound and laser equipment used in endoscopic procedures.
Cleans and prepares procedure rooms.
Assists the physician and registered nurse in caring for patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
Transports patients to appropriate locations.
Creates and edits report templates to be generated by the physicians.
Ensures dictated reports contain all pertinent information.
Contributes to maintaining inventory of supplies to provide full service to endoscopy.
Performs routine equipment maintenance.
Participates in the continuous monitoring and quality improvement efforts.
Education
Required: High school diploma/equivalent.
Preferred: Graduation from a surgical technologist program.
Experience
Required: One year of endoscopy experience or two years of healthcare experience. Certification from an approved endoscopy education program or graduation from a surgical technologist school may be substituted for the required experience.
Preferred: Experience working in endoscopy, gastrointestinal (GI), or colorectal is strongly preferred.
Certification
Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
