Base pay range $100,300.00/yr - $151,900.00/yr

About This Role This position is a multi‑faced security role, responsible for day‑to‑day oversight of security compliance for the collateral program portfolio as well as intermittent support for special programs security. The incumbent will adhere to the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), 32 CFR Part 117, DoDM 5205.07 V1‑4, ICDs as well as program‑related manuals as a part of a team that oversees the day‑to‑day security operations within the classified environment(s). This role requires a seasoned security professional with deep expertise across all facets of security disciplines. The AFSO must be a strategic thinker who can exercise independent judgment and knowledge to manage risks, deliver security training and align security solutions with business needs. The incumbent will collaborate with customers, employees and sponsors to meet objectives while ensuring Textron System’s security program remains effective, compliant with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) standards, and aligned with corporate security requirements.

Responsibilities

Execute daily security operations and NISP compliance.

Implement security education, training, and awareness for staff operating in secure spaces, including facility security, classification management, reporting requirements, and daily security practices.

Conduct self‑inspections, document control, security alarm response, and personnel/physical security.

Maintain DD‑254s, Accreditation letters, 701/702s, and update the DD147s, access lists and ensure security is implemented in accordance with the Standard Practice Procedures/Standard Operating Procedures.

Create and train security education programs for all program employees.

Interface, host, and conduct meetings with the customer.

Interpret program requirements and apply them consistently across diverse situations.

Support the FSO with preparing reports and presentations for all levels of management.

Maintain data compliance in DISS, NISS, SIMS and other systems of record.

Provide support to other business unit security programs as needed.

On call to work off hours as required by program needs.

Maintain knowledge of the security requirements for classified Information Systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years work experience.

Must have final DoD Top Secret clearance.

In‑depth knowledge, experience, and demonstrated ability to successfully enable NISPOM/32 CFR Part 117 implementation and mission requirements in a large complex with multiple facilities.

Must possess practical knowledge and experience with DISS, NISS, NBIS, SIMS, and e‑QIP.

Must have extensive experience with personnel security, classified material control, and visitor control.

Completed DCSA Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) FSO certification.

Must have excellent working knowledge of Microsoft applications: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.

Ability to effectively manage ambiguity and multi‑task on a variety of initiatives.

Must be self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and results‑oriented.

Impeccable Ethics & Integrity and a willingness to ensure regulatory compliance while providing customer support.

Must demonstrate professionalism, independent engagement, and collaboration with peers and external personnel.
