The Assistant General Service Manager is the operational backbone of the venue. This role owns the day‑to‑day execution of Puttery’s standards across all departments hospitality, food & beverage, training, facilities, safety, and golf operations. They support executive direction from the Regional General Managers and Executives while ensuring every shift runs clean, efficient, and financially disciplined. This leader is hands‑on, accountable, and deeply connected to both the guest experience and the team that delivers it. Responsibilities

Serve as direct command, assuming full leadership responsibility when required. Maintain total venue awareness real‑time control of service flow, guest traffic, and quality. Ensure safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness are met every shift, across all spaces. Support strategic planning then translate plans into consistent execution. Lead, mentor, and hold accountable a diverse team of managers and hourly staff. Ensure standards, policies, discipline, and performance expectations are communicated and reinforced. Drive retention through strong culture, recognition, growth opportunities, and clear direction. Identify high‑potential talent and develop them toward advanced roles in the company. Recruit and onboard “right‑fit” hires who elevate team capability and culture. Actively manage labor, product costs, and expense discipline to protect margins. Oversee inventory systems, counts, variances, and waste reduction with rigor. Investigate and resolve loss or inefficiency with urgency and transparency. Track spending, monitor P&L influences, and recommend tactical adjustments. Partner with the Director of Sales to ensure operations is streamlining event flow. Ensure operational alignment with sales commitments before, during, and after events. Guarantee that every guest receives a seamless, elevated Puttery experience. Solicit, review, and directly respond to guest feedback to improve performance. Maintain a safe environment for guests and employees always proactive, never reactive. Qualifications

5+ years leading operations in high‑volume hospitality, entertainment, or F&B environments. Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret financials, labor models, and performance metrics. Proven capability to build, motivate, and hold accountable high‑performing teams. Comfortable making confident, time‑sensitive decisions with incomplete information. Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS/operational reporting platforms. Able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and adjust to business demand. Able to move throughout a large indoor/outdoor venue for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Exhibits a polished, professional presence aligned with the Puttery brand. Working Conditions

Fast‑paced hospitality and entertainment environment with both indoor and outdoor areas. Shifting priorities from guest recovery to coaching to operational troubleshooting in a single shift. Regularly required to stand, walk, and move throughout the venue for extended periods. Work schedule includes evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Frequent interaction with guests and team members in high‑energy settings. Must remain focused and adaptable in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.) may be required for setup and inventory support. Noise levels can be high during peak hours and events.
