Director of Sales – RV OEM

The Opportunity:
Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship oriented Sales Manager to spearhead their RV market expansion efforts in the OEM sector. Based in the heart of Elkhart, IN, this high‑impact leadership role is focused on growing the company’s OEM partnerships and building a scalable, long‑term sales strategy tailored to the RV manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of RV OEMs, established relationships in the region, and a passion for helping customers integrate innovative energy solutions into their units. This role will lead the RV OEM sales function from the front, blending business development, key account management, and team leadership and development. Backed by a compelling product set and growing market demand, this position offers the chance to make a visible and lasting impact within an entrepreneurial and fast‑moving environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan focused on growing RV OEM market share and overall revenue
Serve as the face of the company to RV OEM partners, building strong executive‑level relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Lead high‑level contract negotiations with OEM accounts, securing long‑term agreements and ensuring mutual value
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, collaborating with internal teams to align solutions with customer needs
Work closely with Product, Marketing, and Engineering to ensure offerings meet OEM specifications and market demands
Oversee sales forecasting, pipeline development, and performance reporting, using data to drive continuous improvement efforts and strategies
Mentor and guide the sales team to achieve targets while fostering a collaborative, high‑performing culture
Maintain awareness of market shifts, competitor movements, and broader industry trends within the RV space
Represent the brand at trade shows, industry events, and customer visits, particularly within the Elkhart area and other key manufacturing hubs
Travel regularly as needed to meet with customers, build relationships, and support the sales process across North America
Qualifications
7+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including direct sales to RV OEMs or similar vehicle/equipment manufacturers
Proven track record of managing complex sales cycles and securing high‑value OEM contracts
Deep familiarity with the RV manufacturing ecosystem, particularly the Elkhart, IN market and surrounding region
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor sales teams toward ambitious goals and long‑term success
Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and executive written and verbal communication skills
Experience collaborating cross‑functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing to shape market‑facing solutions
Proficiency in CRM systems and data‑driven pipeline management; experience with NetSuite, or other ERP systems, and partnership portals a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA preferred
Willingness and ability to travel regularly for client visits, team meetings, and industry events
