Apply clinical nursing knowledge and demonstrated skills for patient safety and comfort.
Utilize critical thinking to identify priorities and make judgments on the basic and comprehensive needs of multiple patients.
Facilitate appropriate and timely care.

Qualifications
Education:
Must graduate from an approved professional registered nursing program. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
Experience:
Required: 6 months in a clinical area. 1-year KSC experience may be considered in lieu of 6 months RN experience with approval from Sr Dir Nursing. Preferred: Two years of ambulatory care.
License(s):
Required: Current and valid Texas RN license. Preferred: Specialty nursing certification in ambulatory care or relevant specialty area.
Special Skills:
Required: Ability to use equipment and supplies for the assigned patient population, including CPR, oxygen administration, and intravenous therapy. Computer experience. Preferred: Windows-based computer skills, EPIC experience.
Other:
Required: Current BLS through American Heart Association. Preferred: ACLS and/or PALS.
