Highline Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our Burien clinic, where you’ll work directly with patients to strengthen, stretch, and alleviate pain through functional exercises. You’ll play a critical role in delivering personalized care and helping patients regain independence and confidence.

About Our Burien Clinic Located in the Three Tree Medical Arts Building at St. Anne’s Hospital, our Burien clinic is the largest outpatient facility in our network. We provide comprehensive orthopedic care across multiple specialties:

Sports rehabilitation

Orthopedics & post‑op recovery

Spine rehabilitation

Pelvic health / women’s health

Work injury & return‑to‑work programs

TMJ conditions

Manual hands‑on therapy

Gait and orthotic assessment/fitting

What You’ll Do

Assist PTs in delivering outpatient physical therapy

Implement individualized care plans

Provide hands‑on therapy, exercises, and patient education

Document care and track progress using a state‑of‑the‑art EMR

Collaborate with colleagues to optimize patient outcomes

Build strong relationships with patients, families, and the community

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved PTA program

Current PTA license in good standing with the State of Washington

Strong communication skills and a passion for patient‑centered care

Physical Requirements

Mobility to move freely to assist patients and therapists

Ability to lift and carry equipment or assist patients (up to 50 lbs)

Extended periods of standing and walking

Manual dexterity for therapy tools and equipment

Observational and auditory skills to interact effectively with patients
