Our Blood Institute is actively seeking qualified candidates for a rewarding position that provides a safe and pleasant blood donation experience for donors.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; college classes are a plus.
No experience required – WORLD CLASS PAID on-the-job training offered.
Reliable transportation and working telephone.
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
Bilingual ability is a plus.
Passion for helping save lives.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform registration, vitals, medical screening, phlebotomy, heat sealing duties and record keeping for whole-blood, autologous, directed, therapeutic, testing services, research projects, etc.
Strictly adhere to all standard operating procedures and regulatory standards, including FDA requirements.
Assist supervisor in verifying and completing daily paperwork.
Alert the supervisor of any problems or concerns related to equipment, venipuncture, donor questions/issues, or equipment performance.
Continuously assess donor needs throughout the donation process, including evaluating and treating donor reactions.
Educate donors on blood facts such as donation frequency and the need for blood products.
All other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Location Enid, OK
Pay & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience; additional pay for technical training, associate or bachelor’s degrees, and fluency in Spanish. $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year.
Benefits: Health, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k), paid‑time‑off, $5,000 annual tuition reimbursement, annual uniform allowance, etc.
Days and Hours Varied based on when blood drives are scheduled. Flexible schedule required, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends.
Salary $14.50 - $20.00 per hour.
