KY Radiation Operator’s License at hire; Basic Life Support via AHA within 90 days; Eligible for ARRT.
Physical Requirements:
Regularly lift, push, or pull objects up to 50 lbs; stand or walk with objects up to 25 lbs; work in confined spaces; occasional computer use; risk of injury from moving, lifting, positioning patients, equipment, or materials; exposure to radiation, burns, cuts/punctures, blood‑borne or airborne pathogens, recombinant DNA or viral vectors, and combative/violent people.

Job Summary:
The Radiology Technologist will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist physicians in expediting needed care. Duties include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; ensuring proper identification and marking of images; and ordering exams that match performed procedures. Customer service is essential; the role addresses patient needs across all ages. This position requires call‑back standards established for General Radiology and assistance in QA reviews for professional standards.
Pay:
The minimum hourly rate is $26.47/hour, adjusted recently. Pay rates vary by candidate experience.
Sign‑On Bonus:
$15,000 for new graduates (less than 1 year experience) and $30,000 for candidates with one or more years of experience, contingent upon a 24‑month employment commitment.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Extensive customer service experience; calm, helpful communication during stressful or crisis situations.
Knowledge of CPR, PACS, RIS, KY State Radiation Certification desirable.
