Pay Range $21.96/hr – $32.94/hr (Pay Band C5)
Responsibilities
Determine proper classification of inmates.
Place inmates into eligible programming.
Coordinate inmate release preparation.
Participate in follow-up services and provide monitoring of offenders.
Apply Good Time Laws.
Monitor activities using a tracking system.
Qualifications Associate degree in Guidance and Counseling, Penology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Criminal Justice, Family Studies/Services, Criminology, or related field. Two (2) years of related experience may substitute for education.
Assisting interdisciplinary teams in evaluation of offenders.
Inmate classification process.
Reentry process.
Employment Requirements Position is safety‑sensitive. Must pass pre‑employment and random alcohol/drug testing in accordance with federal and state law.
Working Conditions Work in an adult prison environment with daily contact with inmates. Requires willingness to work odd hours, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
