Installation Technician – Denver, CO
Security 101 – Denver is recruiting for a commercial electronic security installation technician with the ability to support cabling and device installation on new and existing commercial electronic security installations. Communicate effectively with your team and customers.
Base pay range:
$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr. This flat rate is based on skills, experience and product knowledge.
Job type:
Full‑time, non‑exempt. The position includes medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, 401(k), federal holidays, PTO and more. We will also provide a laptop, cell phone and vehicle.
Skills – Abilities & Experience
At least two (2) years of electrical and electronic security equipment installation and repair experience with demonstrated electronic and mechanical aptitude.
Daily project task completion with minimal supervision.
Experience installing, programming and addressing PTZ and IP cameras.
Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
Pass a background check and drug screening.
Preferred Certifications / Proficiencies (PLUS)
Access Control: ProWatch, Software House, Avigilon.
Video: Axis, Exacq, Milestone, Victor, Avigilon, Hanwha.
Intrusion: DMP, DSC, Honeywell, Elk.
Responsibilities
Perform installation, termination and maintenance on factory‑rated components including Mag Locks, Electronic Door Strikes, Card Readers, Keypad readers, Electric Crash Bars, EREX (Emergency Request to Exit buttons), REX (Request to Exit) PIR, and motion sensors.
Education
High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement).
Electronics training from a technical school or military training in electronics or communications (preferred).
