Position Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN)
Location Center for Behavioral Health, Maryland Heights
About The Role We are a 20‑bed psychiatric hospital serving geriatric patients with mental health needs such as cognitive illnesses. Located next to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, we provide care in a supportive and therapeutic environment. As a Behavioral Health RN, you’ll assess patient needs, implement care plans, administer medications, and educate patients and families. You’ll help ensure a safe, compliant, and healing environment for all.
Responsibilities
Deliver care in accordance with nursing standards and facility policies
Monitor patient status and communicate changes to providers
Administer and document medications accurately
Maintain compliance with all licensing and accreditation standards
Use universal precautions and support de‑escalation protocols
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Active RN license in Missouri
Preferred: 1 year of nursing experience in a behavioral or geriatric setting
CPR, First Aid, de‑escalation, and restraint certifications (training provided)
