As an LPN/RN, you are essential to quality resident care. Duties include medication assistance/administration, nursing services, training/supervising staff, and all things related to resident well-being.
Must have Valid Hawaii Nursing License
Responsibilities
Assist residents with instrumental activities of daily living, ADLs, environmental orientation, assistance or administration with medication, treatments, and other care while encouraging self-care and independence, as permitted by state regulations
Train staff and report to the director of nursing
Ensure care as indicated on resident treatment and service plans
Know and follow infection control and safety procedures
Review, update and communicate resident care documentation
Evaluate health emergencies to determine medical measures per RN scope of practice and state regulations
Support dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for residents
Qualifications
Possess a current LPN or RN license in good standing
Typical candidates have 1-year of providing supervision in healthcare. New grads are encouraged to apply!
