Position Summary
The Mental Health Professional II (Licensed PRN) will provide patient‑focused mental health services to the HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital, including assessments, psycho‑education, group and individual therapy, and treatment planning. The role supports patients and families and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
Conduct one‑on‑one, group, and family psychoeducational and process groups.
Develop treatment plans, attend planning meetings, and review progress.
Assess environment and patient safety, report/respond to safety issues.
Identify risk factors, screening criteria, and interventions for high‑risk patients.
Complete assessments, group notes, and documentation promptly.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate discharge planning.
Conduct post‑discharge follow‑up as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start.
Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 90 days of start.
Master’s degree in mental health or related field.
