Within our Retail locations, we bring this promise to life with heart every day and our Pharmacy Technicians (Technicians) play a critical role in supporting our pharmacy teams to consistently deliver on our brand promise.
Responsibilities
Support the pharmacy team in delivering operational and service excellence within your store.
Assist pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
Deliver caring service that exceeds patient expectations.
Apply Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication consistently.
Participate in a rigorous company training program and satisfy all registration, licensing, and certification requirements.
Contribute to safe and effective pharmacy operations, including inventory activities, cycle counts, returns-to-stock, and waiting bin inventories.
Engage patients with empathy, offering immunizations and other services at the register and over the phone.
Remain flexible for scheduling and business needs, including traveling to stores in the market.
Comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and ethical principles.
Deliver additional patient health care services, such as immunizations and point‑of‑care testing where allowed.
Immunization Responsibilities (where permissible)
Complete additional licensure and training to obtain Technician Immunizer status.
Educate patients about vaccines and refer them to the Pharmacist‑on‑duty for questions.
Monitor for and respond to adverse reactions; report events as required.
Review and collect patient information, tracking and documenting for each applicable patient.
Monitor and manage vaccine supplies.
Required Qualifications
Comply with any state board of pharmacy requirements or laws governing the practice of pharmacy.

Must be at least 16 years of age or have a high school diploma/equivalent, or be actively enrolled in high school.
Essential Functions
Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
Ability to complete required training within the designated timeframe.
Attention and focus: concentrate on tasks and pivot quickly when needed.
Customer service and team orientation: help people in a friendly manner and respond appropriately to patient reactions.
Communication skills: use and understand verbal and written communication and actively listen.
Mathematical reasoning: use math for prescription calculations.
Problem resolution: identify challenging interactions and choose best course of action.
Physical demands: stand, lift, reach, and repeat manual tasks as described.
Execute all tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager.
Preferred Qualifications
1‑3 years previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
Ability to work in the home store and across the market.
Anticipated Weekly Hours 40
Time Type Full time
Pay Range The Typical Pay Range For This Role Is
$18.55 – $18.55 per hour.
