Associate Nurse Manager

Hours:

Fulltime; 7p-7:30a; 72 hours per pay period

The Associate Nurse Manager (ANM) supports the Nurse Manager (NM) by overseeing daily nursing operations, ensuring high-quality patient care, fostering a diverse and inclusive environment, and executing performance improvement initiatives. The ANM leads a nursing team, managing staffing, productivity, and coaching staff while collaborating with the NM to drive change and enhance patient experience.

Education

Graduation from an accredited nursing school; BSN required or must be obtained within 3 years of hire.

Proof of enrollment within 6 months of hire.

Licensure / Certification / Registration

Valid Ohio RN License

Current BLS

Specialty certifications may be required depending on unit

Professional certification preferred

Experience

Minimum 2‑year experience as a hospital‑based RN.

1 year of informal leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise nursing staff and serve as an extension of the NM in leadership presence.

Manage staffing and productivity standards, ensuring adequate resources for patient care.

Coach and mentor the nursing team to enhance performance and professional growth.

Lead daily nurse leader rounding and implement quality action plans to improve patient experience.

Participate in performance improvement activities and support change initiatives within the dynamic healthcare environment.
