Marble Falls Receiving - Receiving Specialist - Part-Time
Join H‑E‑B as a part‑time Receiving Specialist in Marble Falls. This role supports day‑to‑day operations of the store’s receiving function.
Responsibilities
Receive and ensure accuracy of incoming H‑E‑B / DSD loads.
Oversee wareroom activity and ensure SOP compliance.
Ensure quality of incoming products by inspecting packages and verifying code dates.
Make decisions based on established guidelines and standards.
Communicate vendor stock conditions/levels to appropriate parties.
Ensure accuracy and completeness of incoming invoices and outgoing credits; research and resolve unusual billing issues.
Communicate below‑standard wareroom, cooler, and freezer conditions to top store management.
Use online tools to ensure vendors provide consistent, timely credit on DSD merchandise.
Maintain paperwork files for all departments and a return goods station for damaged product.
Maintain safety guidelines and partner/vendor relations.
Qualifications & Background
Minimum age 18 (mandatory).
Completion of Company Orientation, Basics of Safety and power jack training, Wareroom Manager certification, Receiving Controller certification (upon hire).
PC skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel) and H‑E‑B systems.
Physical ability to bend, kneel, stand, reach, squat, and lift loads up to 60+ lbs.
Strong initiative, willingness to step up and get things done.
Good communication skills and focus on quality and customer service.
Commitment, hard work, and focus on results.
Working Hours & Schedule Part‑time employment, with work available 3 days per week, typically around 8‑hour shifts. Physical demands include constant movement and lifting as described.
