The Role Schonfeld Strategic Advisors is seeking a highly skilled Digital Communications Manager based out of our New York City office. Reporting directly to our Director of Communications, this individual will specialize in, and take ownership of, our company‑wide videography, video storytelling, and brand strategy. They will work to develop video content creation, supporting marketing efforts for our website and social media presence. An ideal candidate will own all video and photography campaigns, from concept through execution, and post‑production.
What You’ll Do
Developing holistic video strategies and messaging to support company branding and marketing initiatives
Owning the full lifecycle of video content creation, planning, scripting, direction, and production
Strategizing and producing thoughtful, creative, and engaging social media campaigns
Developing and executing holistic external communications strategies for the firm and our executive leadership team
Driving firm‑wide campaigns in partnership with relevant departments including Human Capital Management, Talent Acquisition, our investment COO teams, etc.
Leading production of Schonfeld’s internal podcast and other internal audiovisual content
Facilitating end‑to‑end coverage on digital initiatives for events, ensuring photography and videography coverage
Providing ownership and maintenance of all Schonfeld photo and video assets
What You’ll Bring
5+ years of experience in advertising, marketing, and/or digital communications
Passion for storytelling and a strong track record of building relationships with diverse stakeholders and firm leaders
Proven experience leading campaigns, a producer’s mindset
Ability to work with third‑party pre‑ and post‑production vendors, including external directors of photography
Demonstrated understanding of the full lifecycle of video and photo related content creation
Strong interpersonal skills, effective in ability to direct and manage senior stakeholders in the creation of audiovisual assets
Exceptional writing and editing skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills, keen attention to detail
High levels of business acumen, critical thinking, creativity, and effectiveness, delivering measurable outcomes

Experience with video/photo editing tools and software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Audition, Photoshop), Avid, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro
Experience working in financial services or with financial service clients

Compensation The base pay for this role is expected to be between $150,000 and $170,000. The expected base pay range is based on information at the time this post was generated. This role may also be eligible for other forms of compensation such as a performance bonus and a competitive benefits package. Actual compensation for the successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.
